The Meridian Runner is the most considered trainer I have ever owned. The numbered card inside felt like buying art, not sportswear. Staff in Friedrichshain were unhurried and genuinely knowledgeable.

A maison’s patience, applied to movement
Atelier Berlin began in a single room off Boxhagener Platz with a simple frustration: the things we move in are made to be replaced, while the things we keep are made to last. We wanted to close that gap — to build sportswear with the patience a maison gives to ready-to-wear.
Today the house speaks in two voices. Atelier is the hand-finished line — full-grain leather, temperature-regulating merino, carbon-sprung soles — each piece bench-made and numbered. Studio Nord is the technical counterpoint, where bonded seams and weatherproof membranes meet a tailored, city-ready silhouette.
Everything is made within a few streets of one another in Friedrichshain. We release small runs and then we stop. When a piece is gone, it is gone — and the next one is already being cut.

Studio Nord track jacket is flawless. The matte twill and bonded seams put pieces twice the price to shame. Felt looked-after the entire visit without ever being hovered over.

A rare shop that treats movement as something elegant. The cork yoga mat is gorgeous and the gift wrapping was immaculate. The whole experience feels like a gallery you can wear.

Came for shoes, left with the Cirrus hoodie too. Everything is restrained and quietly excellent. Prices are serious, but so is the make. Easily the best sportswear in the city.
